This Tanzania Peaberry comes from the small cooperative, Mwalyego (mwah-lee-ego), on the slopes of Mount Mbeya. Peaberries occur when the coffee cherry only produces one small seed instead of two. These smaller beans are carefully sorted out to make a batch of peaberry. This lot features the typical fruit notes, citrus acidity and herbal complexity that a Tanzania Peaberry is known for.
